Shelby Trails offers over 300 acres of beautiful trails and woodland, nestled in the heart of bluegrass country and is the perfect place to enjoy nature and scenic hiking experiences.

Meet Keeper

Keeper is proof that retired racehorses can become total lesson-rockstars.

From the track to the arena, this sweet gelding now spends his days teaching kids and adults how to confidently canter, balance, and “fly” over jumps. With his kind heart, smooth stride, and patient personality, Keeper helps riders build confidence while making every ride fun. Whether he’s cruising around the arena or popping over fences, he always takes care of his people and truly lives up to his name.

Jasper

Meet Jasper our handsome Dutch Harness horse who traded the cart for the trail life and has absolutely no regrets. Curious about everything, convinced every leaf movement is important business, and always ready to investigate snacks, pockets, or questionable noises. He’s sweet, charming, and knows he’s good-looking. Jasper now cruises the trails like he was born for it — ears up, strut engaged, and probably flirting with anyone who compliments him.

Elvira

Don’t let her size fool you, Elvira has the heart of a lap dog. Curious, affectionate, and always ready for attention, Elvira loves giving kisses and making new friends. With her sweet personality and steady nature, she happily takes care of her riders as they stroll peacefully along the trails. She’s the kind of horse that makes everyone feel safe, loved, and completely at home in the saddle.
