At Red Fern Riding Center, we believe great riding starts with a great foundation. Our English riding program provides a unique, well-rounded perspective on horses.
Our kind and patient coaching style ensures you feel supported while gaining a deep, technical understanding of the horse. From beginner to advanced, and any age starting at ages 7+ years old, we teach you how to ride and we give you life long skills while using positive reinforcement to help you communicate with horses inside and out of the arena.

Cancelation Policy: We have a 24 hour non-refundable cancellation policy. Please notify us (text or email) if you need to reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours will be charged to the card on file and not receive a refund.
What is a Lesson?
A lesson at Red Fern Riding Center is a comprehensive horse experience which covers all key aspects of horse safety, care and handling. Lessons are about 50 minutes.

The safety of both you and the horses is our top priority, and each lesson is designed to work toward your horse goals of building skills, confidence and responsible horse care in and out of the saddle. We are excited to have you for a lesson!
HorseSense Program
HorseSense Learning is a unique program designed to track your progress as you grow into a well-rounded, confident rider and horseperson.
As you master each level, you “level up” and earn a ribbon and certificate—making goal-setting fun and rewarding. The program is self-paced, combining education with fun!
The curriculum is divided into three branches:
🐴 Equestrian Levels – Develop riding skills, balance, and confidence in the saddle.
🐴 HorseSense Levels – Build knowledge of horse care, handling, and health.
🐴 Horse-Centered Levels – Focus on groundwork, behavior, and compassionate care.

How it works:
Each level includes specific objectives—small, achievable skills and knowledge goals. Students demonstrate understanding through hands-on practice and explanation. Once all objectives are completed, they earn a ribbon and certificate!

PONY EXPERIENCE - for little tikes!
This includes:

brushing a pony, riding a pony, feeding a pony and time for a photo session with your cell phone or personal camera. This will be held in the indoor or outdoor arena, availability and weather permitting.

A Pony Experience can also be tailored by special request to each individual child’s dream so if a child wants to do something special outside of the brushing, riding, feeding and photos we can make it happen!

All riders must wear a helmet.

The fee is $110 for 45 minutes per child.
